Hi I’m Anastacia!

Most of the people I work with are not new to therapy. They’ve done insight work. They understand their patterns. But they still find themselves struggling in the same ways. In their relationships, in their parenting, in their relationship with food and body, or in the day to day overwhelm of anxiety or ADHD.

That’s where my work is focused.

I specialize in trauma and how it lives in the nervous system and shows up in your relationships. My approach is not just about understanding why you are the way you are. It is about helping those patterns actually shift, so you feel less hijacked in the moments that matter and have more choice in how you respond.

I use EMDR, parts work, and somatic approaches to process what is stuck and reach the layers that insight alone does not change. I also integrate more traditional talk therapy and DBT in a way that is grounded and practical, so the work translates into your everyday life. This is especially important in parenting, where these patterns tend to show up most clearly and feel the most urgent.

I also work with body image and food concerns from an intuitive eating and Health at Every Size perspective. This often helps move you out of shame, rigidity, or control and into a more stable, trusting relationship with your body.

My style is direct, collaborative, and grounded. I am engaged in the work with you, not sitting back as a passive observer.

I have done my own depth work and mental health recovery, which allows me to show up with honesty and empathy. I am not afraid to go to the places that feel harder to access, and I will support you in doing that in a way that is steady and workable.
